1. General provisions

1.1. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") establishes the procedure for processing, storing, and protecting the personal data of users ("User", "you") of the ZazaZu web service ("Service"), which is used for content generation via artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and providing access to custom functionality.

1.2. The Company ensures compliance with human rights and freedoms during personal data processing in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), Quebec's Law 25, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act).

1.3. By using the Service, registering an account, purchasing Plans with Credits, or submitting content generation requests, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy.

2. Scope and categories of collected data

To operate the Service, track Credits, and properly execute generation functions, we collect the following categories of data:

• Identification data — first name, last name, email address, password (hashed). Purpose: account registration, authentication, communication.
• Purchase & Credit data — purchase history of Plans, Credit balance, activation status of Custom Features, transaction IDs. Purpose: Credit balance accounting, chargeback prevention, financial reporting.
• User inputs (prompts & content inputs) — text prompts, settings parameters, uploaded files, or metadata submitted for generation. Purpose: executing content generation requests via AI algorithms.
• Generated content — generation outputs (texts, media files) linked to the User ID. Purpose: providing access to generation history in the Personal Account.
• Technical telemetry — IP address, device type, browser version, cookies, API request logs. Purpose: security, spam/fraud prevention, performance optimization.

Important note regarding payment data

The Company DOES NOT collect, process, or store full payment card details (card number, CVC/CVV code, expiration date). All payment information is entered directly into secure forms provided by certified vendors compliant with the PCI-DSS security standard.

3. Purposes and legal bases for data processing

We process your data strictly for the following legitimate purposes:

3.1. Providing access to the service: crediting purchased Credits, activating Custom Features, and executing content generation operations.

3.2. Customer & technical support: resolving dispute situations (e.g., refunding Credits due to server technical failures upon request sent to support@zazazuai.com).

3.3. Fraud & abuse prevention: monitoring compliance with Credit usage rules and preventing attempts to generate illegal content.

3.4. Marketing & notifications: sending system messages (balance updates, payment confirmations) and informational newsletters (strictly upon receiving explicit consent / opt-in).

4. Data transfer to third parties and AI vendors

4.1. Integration with AI models (third-party AI vendors): To fulfill your content generation requests, text prompts and technical parameters are transmitted over secure protocols (APIs) to third-party providers of language and generative models. Confidentiality guarantee: input prompts are transmitted to AI vendors solely to the extent necessary to execute a single specific generation request. We strive to utilize B2B/Enterprise API interfaces from vendors that do not use user data to train public neural networks.

4.2. Infrastructure and payments: Data is processed on secure cloud servers and transmitted to payment acquirers. Transferring data to third parties for advertising purposes or selling user data is strictly prohibited.

4.3. Authentication providers: If you choose to sign in with a third-party service (for example, Google), that provider carries out the authentication and shares basic profile data with us — your email address, name, profile picture, and a unique account identifier — which we use to create or access your account. We DO NOT receive your password for that service; the provider handles authentication. The provider's processing of your data is governed by its own privacy policy.

5. Data retention periods and deletion

5.1. Account and credits: Personal data is retained for the entire duration of your account's existence to ensure indefinite access to the balance of purchased Credits.

5.2. History of prompts and generated content: Stored in the Personal Account until the User manually deletes a specific generation, or until the account is deleted.

5.3. Account deletion: The User has the right to request the complete deletion of their account and associated data at any time by sending an email to privacy@zazazuai.com. Upon account deletion, any unused Credit balance is forfeited without compensation.

6. User rights

Users of the Service possess the following legal rights regarding their data:

• Right of access: request confirmation of data processing and obtain a copy of the processed data.
• Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent for marketing or data processing at any time.
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"): request deletion of all personal data from the system.

7. Changes to the Privacy Policy

7.1. The Company reserves the right to unilaterally amend this Policy in the event of changes to the Service functionality or legal requirements.

7.2. The new version of the Policy takes effect upon its publication on the Website. In the event of material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notification banner in your Personal Account.
