This Policy (the "Policy") explains how ZazaZu AI (the "Company", "We", "Service") uses cookie files and web local storage technologies (LocalStorage) when you visit and use our website https://zazazuai.com and our content generation service https://zazazuai.com/create.

We are committed to maximum transparency regarding how we process the data of our users worldwide in accordance with the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the ePrivacy Directive, and other international privacy standards.

2. What are cookies and web browser storage technologies?

• Cookies: small text files placed on your device by a website to retain information about your interaction with the resource.
• Web storage: web browser technologies that allow websites to store data locally on a user's device. We use LocalStorage exclusively to ensure the proper technical operation of the Service (authorization, saving interface settings).

3. What technologies do we use and why?

We classify the technologies used into two categories: strictly necessary (Functional) and analytical.

Important: We DO NOT use marketing, advertising, or retargeting cookies (such as Facebook Pixel, Google Ads Tracking, etc.).

A. Strictly necessary and functional data (Local storage / Essential sessions)

This data is essential to ensure the core functionality and security of our SaaS service. It cannot be disabled, as the operation of the /create application would become technically impossible without it.

• What is stored: authorization tokens and session status (for accessing your personal account and generating content); interface settings (selected language, visual theme); your consent status regarding the use of analytical cookies.
• Technology: browser local storage / session storage.
• Third-party transfer: data is stored locally in your browser and is not transferred to third-party trackers.

B. Web Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

To understand how users interact with our product, improve the interface, and resolve errors, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), provided by Google LLC.

• _ga: used to distinguish users. Retention period: up to 2 years.
• _ga_<CONTAINER-ID>: used to persist session state. Retention period: up to 2 years.
• _gid: used to identify unique users (if applicable). Retention period: 24 hours.

Installation conditions: analytical cookies are installed only after your explicit consent (Opt-in) via the cookie banner on the website.

AI data privacy: we DO NOT transmit the content of your text queries (prompts), generated AI content, payment data, or bank details to Google Analytics. User IP addresses are anonymized natively within GA4.

4. Consent management and disabling cookies

Cookie banner: upon your first visit to the website, you can grant or withhold consent for analytical data collection. You can change your decision at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the website.

Browser settings: you can disable cookie storage or clear LocalStorage in your browser settings (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge). Please note: clearing local storage will log you out of the website and require re-authorization.

5. International data transfer

Information collected by Google Analytics 4 may be transferred to and stored on Google LLC servers in the United States and other countries. For more details on Google's data processing practices, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy.
